Abraham[a] is the Hebrew patriarch of the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.[5] In Judaism, he is the founding father of the special relationship between the Jews and God; in Christianity, he is the spiritual progenitor of all believers, whether Jewish or non-Jewish;[c][6] and in Islam, he is a link in the chain of Islamic prophets that begins with Adam and culminates in Muhammad.[4]

The story of the life of Abraham as told in the narrative of the Book of Genesis.  Abraham was born in the city of “UR” of the Chaldees, Ur was a major Sumerian city-state located in Mesopotamia, marked today by Tell el-Muqayyar in southern Iraq. His father was Terah a priest who manufactured idols.  One day Abram, smashed his father’s idols and chased customers away. He was 75 years old when he was called by God to leave the house of his father Terah and settle in the land of Canaan, which God promised to Abraham and his progeny.

It is easy to imagine that he heard a lot about the mythology, folklore and religion of Babylonia, it seems to me he might have been exposed to Zoroastrianism an older monotheistic religion of Persia.
